Built From the Ground Up
Blackstone Concrete was built on hard work, discipline, and doing things the right way. I’m Omar Morales, owner of Blackstone Concrete. I was born in Florida and spent part of my childhood in Guatemala, where I learned early that nothing comes easy. If we wanted something, we worked for it. That mindset stayed with me. After moving back to the United States, I started over learning a new language, adapting, and finding my path. I got into concrete in Virginia, where I spent nine years learning the trade, building experience, and developing the skills I use today.
In 2018, I moved to Jacksonville with the goal of building something of my own. Starting over wasn’t easy. I took whatever work I could, worked my way up again, and stayed focused on the long-term goal. In 2020, I took a chance and started Blackstone Concrete with what I had at the time. From there, we’ve grown step by step through consistent work and attention to detail.
Today, we focus on flatwork driveways, patios, slabs, and stamped concrete for both residential and commercial projects. Every job is handled with the same approach: show up, do it right, and stand behind the work. Blackstone isn’t about shortcuts or quick jobs. It’s about doing work that lasts and building something we’re proud to put our name on.
